Inspired locations according to demand and taste
There are a multitude of locations in the Stuttgart region fit for every occasion, from very large to rather intimate, from noble to historic and traditional.
Stuttgart Airport is an especially diverse and flexibly divided area which satisfies international requirements with consummate grace. The ICS, which belongs to the Messe Stuttgart trade fair, is one of the largest and most modern convention centres in Germany. It is optimally suited for large roadshows or in-house fairs. The popular German TV programme “Wetten, dass …?” has already been guest there. The Stuttgart Liederhalle is a centre of cultural and social life. In the concert hall, constructed in 1956 in anthroposophical design, is a protected heritage building since 1987. Now extended by a new congress building, it is employed for diverse events. A highly modern technical stage and media facilities as well as outstanding acoustics satisfy the highest standards.
An exceptional venue is to be found in the direct neighbourhood, suitable for conventions and celebrations of all types. The “Old Riding Hall”, integrated in the Maritim Hotel complex, was built in 1885. The steel and glass building was constructed in the style of the Italian Renaissance and is today under heritage protection.
A setting for events that is unique in the world is the Mercedes-Benz Museum. Apart from venues of diverse sizes, the museum also has a large open-air stage and a casino with a view of vineyard slopes.
The NeckarPark has the Porsche Arena, where rock concerts or national party conventions have already been held. Directly next to it is the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer Hall, one of the largest event arenas in Germany for audiences of up to 15,500 people.
For individual or smaller occasions, there are locations steeped in history such as the Stuttgart Marmorsaal (Marble Hall) with its unique architecture and its private congeniality. Or one can celebrate in the Roemerkastell in Bad Cannstatt, a facility which goes back to the Roman emperor Trajan. In Esslingen, the historical quarters of the old city hall are inviting.
