The name Zeitungsgruppe Stuttgart (Stuttgart Newspaper Group) has been synonymous with quality journalism and innovative newspaper technology for decades. The Stuttgarter Zeitung is one of the largest regional newspapers in the German-speaking areas with quality standards of national status. Sonntag Aktuell is the seventh edition of the two major Stuttgart dailies as well as of 44 other newspapers throughout the southwest German area. Overall, Sonntag Aktuell sells around 880,000 copies, making it Germany's second-largest Sunday newspaper.
With daily sales topping 130,000 copies (incl. partner newspapers), the Schwarzwälder Bote is one of the major regional dailies in Baden-Wuerttemberg. The unusually dense news network in the German newspaper landscape, consisting of 19 branch offices and 21 local offices reflect the newspaper’s mission to provide both extensive national reporting and detailed discussions of local topics. Aside from the daily newspaper with 18 local editions, the newspaper also publishes various journals for spa visitors and tourists and advertising journals.
The Stuttgarter Wochenblatt is one of Germany’s most eminent advertising journals. It is published in 14 local editions with a circulation of more than 360,000 copies. This gives it the greatest household coverage in Stuttgart, the Filder area and Gerlingen. Current local reporting and extensive service information form the editorial framework for the advertisements.
